Soundfish has no public source license
The canonical source repository is private. Soundfish does not grant a public license to copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, or sell the application source or bundled product code.
Hosted product
The public editor currently costs $0 to use. Access to the hosted product does not grant a source-code or redistribution license. Do not describe Soundfish as open source or submit it to an open-source-only catalog.
CLI and skill permission
Soundfish grants permission to download, install, and run unmodified official copies of the @hraness/soundfish CLI and the Soundfish skill solely to use Soundfish workflows. That permission does not make the application or repository open source and does not grant permission to modify, redistribute, sublicense, or sell the CLI, skill, application source, or bundled product code.
The official skill is published at /skills/soundfish.zip. The older edit-soundfish archive is retained as a compatibility copy under the same limited install-and-run permission.
Third-party materials
MuseScore General, SpessaSynth, and other runtime dependencies retain their own licenses and notices. Those licenses apply to the named third-party material and do not establish a license for Soundfish as a product. The private source repository contains MonoLisa font files as proprietary licensed assets, and the hosted application deploys them as webfonts. MonoLisa's own terms govern those assets; Soundfish does not offer them under a public source license.
Directory field
When a catalog asks for the product license, use Proprietary or Closed source. The limited permission to install and run official CLI and skill copies is not an open-source license. Leave open-source license fields empty unless the product owner publishes a separate exact license.
